Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking an experienced Manager of Human Resources to lead HR for a complex government contract with multiple unions. This on-site role in Hawthorne, NV focuses on labor relations, grievance oversight, compliance, employee relations, and workforce planning.

The HR Manager advises senior leadership on talent reviews, succession planning, and critical hires. The role requires extensive HR leadership experience, strong employment law knowledge, and the ability to manage

Formación

• Significant labor relations experience including administration of multiple CBAs and grievance handling.
• Experience supporting government contracts or similarly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law (SCA, NLRA), HR compliance, and EEO/OFCCP requirements.
• Experience leading or supervising HR professionals.
• Ability to guide leadership on staffing, succession planning and critical hiring decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day HR support for the contract and advise senior leadership on staffing, onboarding, performance management and workforce planning.
• Manage labor relations across unions and bargaining units; interpret CBAs, oversee grievances, support negotiations.
• Ensure actions comply with laws, policies, CBAs, wage determinations, and contract requirements; support audits and documentation.
• Guide managers on performance, conduct, investigations, and corrective action; support talent reviews and leadership development.
• Develop and update site HR policies to reflect contractual obligations and applicable law; improve HR controls and service delivery.
• Lead and develop the site HR team and coordinate with Corporate HR and other functions to address contract needs.
