Hydro Extrusions is a world-leading aluminium extrusion business with a broad North American footprint and a strong safety culture. The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management at the plant level, acting as an extension of the HR Manager.

You will ensure compliance with laws and CBAs where applicable, lead workforce planning with recruiting and leadership, drive training and development, and support payroll, benefits, and HRIS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing (union environment).
• Proficient in employment laws and CBAs where applicable.
• English required; additional language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and grievance support.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA, EPA, CBAs as applicable.
• Oversee workforce planning and partner with recruiting and leadership for staffing.
• Drive training and development, leadership development, and compliance training.
• Manage performance cycles for hourly and salaried staff, including data analysis.
• Escalate payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave administration as needed.
• Lead HR operations: HRIS, record management, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement.
