Job summary

Hydro Extrusions USA, LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage plant-level HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and CBA compliance where applicable. This role supports the HR Manager and partners with supervisors to align priorities.

You will lead investigations, advise on labor laws and CBAs, oversee workforce planning, drive training, and manage payroll-related escalations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, grievance support, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA, EPA, CBAs, and internal HR policies and processes.
• Oversee workforce planning, partnering with recruiting and leadership to meet staffing needs and support onboarding.
• Drive training and development initiatives, including leadership development, compliance training, job qualification programs, and coaching for supervisors.
• Manage performance management cycles for hourly and salaried employees, including data analysis, reporting, calibration support, and mentoring junior HR staff.
• Serve as escalation point for payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave administration to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
• Lead HR operations, including HRIS and record management, KPI reporting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
