Job summary

Hydro Extrusions USA, LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage key HR functions at a plant level, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management, ensuring CBA compliance where applicable. This role acts as an extension of the HR Manager, handling complex issues, training programs, and workforce planning initiatives.

You will lead investigations, support payroll and benefits, and drive HRIS operations while partnering with supervisors and staff to align

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience, preferably in unionized manufacturing environment.
• English required; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, grievance support, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA, EPA requirements, CBAs (where applicable), and internal HR policies and processes.
• Oversee workforce planning, partnering with recruiting and leadership to meet staffing needs and support onboarding.
• Drive training and development initiatives, including leadership development, compliance training, job qualification programs, and coaching for supervisors.
• Manage performance management cycles for hourly and salaried employees, including data analysis, reporting, calibration support, and mentoring junior HR staff.
• Serve as an escalation point for payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave administration to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
• Lead HR operations, including HRIS and record management, KPI reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and crossfunctional collaboration.
