Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, applicant tracking, and HR recordkeeping.
• Ability to learn and explain HR systems and processes to users with varying tech skills.
• Strong customer-service approach and effective communication skills.
• Ability to guide applicants, employees, and managers professionally and clearly.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Judgment to escalate issues to HR when needed.
• Ability to build relationships across City departments and work independently.

Aufgaben

• Partner with managers to post positions using UKG Ready Recruitment.
• Review recruitment requests for completeness and compliance.
• Train managers on recruitment workflows and onboarding steps.
• Monitor postings and workflows to prevent delays.
• Post roles to Indeed, LinkedIn, and industry sites.
• Coordinate internal notices for Teamsters and bargaining-unit roles.
• Maintain accurate electronic recruitment and applicant records.
• Support pre-employment steps, onboarding tasks, and UKG Ready coordination.
• Lead weekly new-hire orientation sessions and explain City policies.
• Serve as primary resource for UKG Ready Recruitment and onboarding, troubleshooting routine questions.
• Develop user guides, checklists, and training materials.
• Respond to HR inquiries via calls and email with professional guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality of applicant, employee, and organizational information.
