This role acts as a primary resource for managers, helping post and manage open positions, navigate UKG Ready Recruitment, and onboard new employees through weekly orientation.

Qualifications

• A college degree is preferred, but not required.
• Experience performing human resources functions, recruitment, onboarding, or HR systems is preferred.
• Experience working with an applicant tracking system or HR information system.
• Experience guiding, training managers, and delivering HR system training (UKG Ready preferred).
• Municipal/public-sector HR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and HR system processes across City departments.
• Post and manage open positions and navigate UKG Ready Recruitment module.
• Onboard new employees and conduct weekly new-hire orientation sessions.
• Review applications, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and conduct reference/background checks.
• Coordinate onboarding workflows and ensure completion of required UKG Ready tasks.
• Provide guidance to managers on recruitment workflows and HR policies.
