Job summary

High Watch Recovery Center in Kent, CT is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions with emphasis on training and development, policy administration, and process improvement. The role requires initiative, organization, and collaboration with managers to implement initiatives that enhance workplace effectiveness.

You will develop training programs, maintain HR policies, manage employee relations and onboarding, and handle records in ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience, including employee relations and terminations.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Experience in training and development and HR policy administration is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer training and development programs for employees and managers.
• Identify training needs and create engaging materials and presentations.
• Maintain and update HR policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Administer the job description program and keep job descriptions current.
• Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and terminations.
• Provide onboarding support for new hires, interns, fellows, and volunteers.
• Support HR policies and workplace concerns for managers and staff.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support HR processes in ADP Workforce Now.
• Prepare HR reports and analyze turnover, training, and engagement trends.
• Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives and other HR projects.
