Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) seeks a Human Resources Senior Generalist to provide HR support to multiple groups of managers and employees. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, coach on performance management, and drive HR initiatives across locations.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a focus on proactive issue resolution and process improvement. Experience in manufacturing is preferred, with PHR or SPHR certification advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field plus experience.
• Minimum five years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR resource for managers and employees; analyzes and resolves concerns.
• Develop and deliver communications and training on HR concepts.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for multiple locations.
• Coach managers on performance management and calibrations.
• Collaborate with Compensation to ensure competitive total rewards.
• Improve HR processes and programs to meet needs.
• Support FMLA/LOA and Workers' Comp processes.
• Mentor other HR Generalists and lead projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
