Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Sr. Talent Specialist to support the talent team at the Lubbock, TX Distribution Center, coordinating recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and HR systems while driving culture and engagement in a fast-paced food-service distribution environment.

You will partner with the Regional Talent Leader and DC leadership to execute talent strategies, manage employee records, and ensure compliance across federal and state requirements, delivering high-impact HR services daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years HR experience, including 1 year in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple operations.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Occasional travel including overnight trips.
• Experience with investigations including accidents and harassment.
• Experience recruiting and developing a diverse team.
• Understanding of labor legislation.
• Ability to lead through change management.
• Proficient communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Talent Leader in recruitment initiatives, coordinating interview logistics and ensuring a smooth process.
• Oversee records management in HR system and analyze data for KPIs.
• Drive employee engagement across DC departments and promote Chick-fil-A Supply values.
• Advise team leaders on employment law, regulations, performance, and policies (FMLA, ADA, workers' comp).
• Oversee payroll administration and resolve issues for staff and leaders.
• Monitor market-driven compensation trends and advise leadership.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and seminars; assist with training when needed.
• Collaborate with Legal and Regional Talent Leader to ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
