Job summary

You will manage the full lifecycle of staff actions, advise on recruitment, onboarding, and benefits, and coordinate with central HR units to ensure compliance and timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of HR/payroll experience, preferably in a university setting.
• Experience with unionized workforces and payroll processes.
• Strong writing/editing and MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to interpret policies and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Administers full lifecycle staff personnel actions incl. appointments, changes, separations and leaves.
• Advises on recruitment strategy, onboarding and payroll processes for SEIS departments.
• Collaborates with campus HR partners to resolve employment-related issues.
• Maintains compliance with UC policies and deadlines.
