The Office of the Colorado State Public Defender is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to lead recruitment and employee lifecycle initiatives within the State Administrative Office.

The role provides HR consultation to trial offices, manages salary placement and on-boarding, and ensures compliant, equitable employment practices across Colorado's public defender system. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5 years in HR, and strong knowledge of EEO laws, with ability to collaborate across

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR management, business, or related field.
• Five years of progressive HR experience including recruitment.
• Certifications preferred (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR, SPHR).

Responsabilidades

• Lead recruitment and selection programs for assigned positions.
• Develop and maintain position description library; ensure legal compliance.
• Identify recruitment sources to reach diverse candidates.
• Lead onboarding program and evaluate effectiveness.
• Conduct exit interviews and summarize workforce trends.
• Serve as HR liaison to trial offices and provide consultation.
• Coordinate salary placement and compensation processes.
• Administer RTD/EcoPass program.
