Job summary

Segway in Plano, Texas is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to work under the HR Director and deliver a full spectrum of HR functions, including recruiting, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll, HRIS, and records management.

You will oversee onboarding/offboarding, drive training and employee development, ensure legal compliance and labor relations, analyze HR metrics, and partner with leaders to build an engaging, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, Payroll and Employee Relations focus preferred.
• Experience in wholesale/retailer setting preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, records management, and benefits administration.
• Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
• Maintain HR data and payroll coordination with HQ HR team.
• Drive performance management and 90-day reviews; support goal setting and improvement plans.
• Assess training needs; design and deliver development programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; conduct audits.
• Generate HR metrics and provide management insights for decision-making.
• Advise on employee relations, conflicts, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
