Job summary

Intertech Plastics LLC in Denver, CO seeks a Senior HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across payroll, employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compliance, and engagement. This on-site role partners with management to ensure effective HR operations and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating payroll (outsourced), managing FMLA, recruiting hourly staff, benefits administration, safety programs, and HR process improvements in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years HR experience (manufacturing) required.
• Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and confidential handling.
• Payroll experience and benefits administration knowledge.
• Non-union environment experience and safety awareness.
• Strong written and oral communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Administer timekeeping and light bi-weekly payroll duties (outsourced).
• Manage the FMLA process including tracking, forms, and approvals.
• Recruit hourly and temporary staff; conduct background checks and orientation.
• Administer benefits and communicate claims information.
• Support worker's compensation and safety programs.
• Partner with management on performance management, training, succession planning, etc.
• Plan events and employee engagement initiatives; coordinate communications.
• Maintain employee files and HR records; generate reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and compliance.
