Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage key HR functions at a plant level, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management. You will ensure CBA compliance where applicable and partner with the HR Manager to execute priorities, address complex employee relations issues, and drive workforce planning initiatives.

The role requires a proactive HR professional with at least 5 years of manufacturing HR experience, strong knowledge of labor

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years HR experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, OSHA, FLSA, NLRA) and CBAs where applicable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations investigations, conflict resolution, grievance support, and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, OSHA/EPA requirements, CBAs where applicable, and internal HR policies.
• Oversee workforce planning, partner with recruiting/leadership to meet staffing needs and support onboarding.
• Drive training and development initiatives, including leadership development, compliance training, and coaching for supervisors.
• Manage performance management cycles for hourly and salaried employees, including data analysis and calibration support.
• Escalate payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave administration to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
• Lead HR operations, including HRIS, record management, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement.
