Job summary

Durex Industries in Cary, IL is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to lead talent acquisition for a manufacturing facility while delivering day-to-day HR support. You will partner with operations leadership to attract, hire, onboard, and retain a skilled workforce, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

You will drive workforce planning, employee relations, and HR reporting, contributing to retention and development initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or comparable years of experience.
5–10 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in manufacturing.
Experience with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Dynamics a plus.
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trade, technical, and salaried manufacturing positions.
Develop sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines through community partnerships, trade schools, employee referrals, and recruitment events.
Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, candidate selection, and hiring decisions.
Manage candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding activities.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting.
Support employee relations, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
