Job summary

Durex Industries, a Spirax Group company, seeks a Senior HR Generalist to lead talent acquisition for a manufacturing facility and provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders in Cary, IL.

You will partner with operations leadership to attract, hire, onboard, and retain a skilled workforce, ensure compliance with employment laws, manage employee relations, performance development, and HR reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5-10 years of HR Generalist/HRBP experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Preference for bilingual Spanish/English.
• Previous recruitment experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong multitasking and confidentiality skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trade, technical, and salaried manufacturing positions.
• Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines with community partnerships, trade schools, referrals, and events.
• Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, candidate selection, and offers.
• Manage screening, interviews, onboarding, and HR reporting.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies.
• Contribute to HR programs and safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
