Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced HR professional to partner with plant leadership at the Large Parts Campus. The role focuses on employee relations, investigations, coaching leaders through tough conversations, and maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has hands-on HR experience, sound business sense, and the ability to balance employee needs with operational objectives. Travel locally may be required to address employee relations concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent.
• Five+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing/fast-paced operations.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws including ADA, FMLA, EEOC, wage and hour.
• Ability to influence leaders and balance business needs with employee concerns.
• Excellent communication, interviewing, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to advise on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations involving complaints, harassment, discrimination, and conflicts.
• Travel locally to address employee relations concerns, interview, and support resolution.
• Coach supervisors on performance management, corrective action, and development.
• Maintain a visible HR presence on the production floor and build relationships with employees/leaders.
• Facilitate focus groups and listening sessions to identify workforce concerns and retention opportunities.
• Perform fact-finding, document findings, assess risk, and provide compliant recommendations.
• Guide on ADA, FMLA, accommodations, leave administration, harassment prevention, and workplace conduct.
• Identify relations trends and risks; propose proactive culture and engagement improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality, and HR on investigations and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies and federal/state/local laws.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
