Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, EEOC, wage and hour).
• Excellent communication, interviewing, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.
• Ability to coach leaders through difficult conversations and balance business needs with employee concerns.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office; Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations involving complaints, harassment, discrimination, and other misconduct.
• Travel locally to address employee relations concerns, interview colleagues, and support issue resolution.
• Coach supervisors on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and employee development.
• Maintain a visible HR presence on the production floor and build relationships with staff and leaders.
• Facilitate employee focus groups and listening sessions to identify engagement improvements.
• Identify trends and risks, providing recommendations for fair, compliant employment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
