You will partner with plant leadership to address complex employee issues, conduct investigations, coach leaders, and ensure compliant people practices on the production floor. The role requires hands-on presence, sound business judgment, and the ability to balance workforce needs with operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/production environments.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling complex employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, wage-hour) and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations involving complaints, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
• Travel locally to address employee relations concerns, conduct interviews, and support resolution.
• Coach supervisors/managers on performance, discipline, and development.
• Maintain visible HR presence on the production floor and facilitate employee focus groups.
• Identify trends and risks to improve engagement and retention.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies across the site.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance review processes.
