Our client in Upington, Northern Cape seeks a Senior HR Generalist specializing in employee development and training to drive learning culture and career progression. The role covers design, delivery, and assessment of training, coaching, and performance management initiatives across departments.

The successful candidate will create development plans, manage succession processes, and collaborate on HR strategy while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and compliance with local labor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, education, or related field.
• 5-7 years in HR with focus on development, training, and performance management.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Strong performance management and career-pathing knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.
• South African labor law knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational training and development needs across all departments.
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs and initiatives.
• Manage the employee performance appraisal system and guide goal setting.
• Develop and manage career development plans and succession planning processes.
• Source external training providers and manage vendor relationships.
• Measure training effectiveness and report outcomes.
• Support onboarding and integration processes.
• Handle HR generalist functions including employee relations and administration.
• Contribute to HR strategy and talent management initiatives.
• Stay updated on best practices in talent development.
