Job summary

URELL Inc. seeks a Senior HR Generalist to anchor our HR operations from our Watertown, MA HQ. This hands-on role supports onboarding, records, payroll coordination, and employee life-cycle events across a multi-state workforce.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of HR experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong benefits administration, payroll coordination, and timekeeping knowledge.
• Familiarity with federal and state employment law (FMLA, FLSA, PFML, etc.).
• Experience with HR/payroll providers (ADP, Paychex, Justworks, etc.).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable with HRIS and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding from offer to 90 days with benefits enrollment and access setup.
• Own HR records, compliance, and timekeeping across states.
• Manage workers' compensation processes and unemployment inquiries.
• Oversee payroll coordination with external provider and audit outputs.
• Maintain HR intranet/portal and ensure policies are up to date.
• Support performance management and policy enforcement.
• Provide front-line HR support for employees and leaders in-office.
