Job summary

Urgo Medical is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to partner with leadership across North America, leading talent acquisition, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting payroll administration in a growth environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, experienced in recruiting, and able to operate in a fast-paced setting, with a focus on HR programs and policy alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive HR experience, including full-cycle recruitment.
• Working knowledge of Canadian employment laws and HR practices.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for salaried and hourly positions across multiple functions and locations.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs.
• Support performance management and talent review processes.
• Assist managers with employee development and succession planning.
• Back up Payroll Specialist and support payroll processing as needed.
• Coordinate employee training programs and learning initiatives.
