Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking an HR Generalist to support employees across the full lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding at our Pawtucket, RI headquarters.

You’ll handle employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS updates while partnering with the Talent, Culture, and People team to drive a people-first culture.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years in HR, a Bachelor’s in HR or related field, and strong communication skills in a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hands-on HR experience in generalist or similar role.
• Knowledge of core HR practices and employment laws.
• Experience across onboarding, relations, benefits, leave, compliance, or offboarding.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers.
• Support employee relations, document concerns, and assist leadership with resolution.
• Coordinate onboarding and HRIS updates for new hires.
• Administer benefits programs and coordinate annual open enrollment.
• Assist with leave programs (FMLA) and workers’ comp processes.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data integrity.
