Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience with hands-on employee relations
• Experience supporting employees across multiple U.S. states with federal employment law knowledge
• Hands-on benefits administration including enrollments, eligibility, inquiries, and coordination
• Experience with government-required employment reporting (EEO-1, ACA 1094/1095)
• Experience supporting hourly/nonexempt employees and operational managers
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and documentation systems
• Strong written communication, organization, and discretion

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations, investigations, warnings, and terminations; address discrimination or retaliation concerns
• Apply federal, state, and local regulations for wage and hour, leave, and classifications; collaborate with Legal on complex matters
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, renewals, COBRA, and education; work with brokers and payroll
• Prepare and reconcile workforce data for government reporting and audits
• Coach managers on documentation and policy adherence; support workforce planning and retention initiatives
• Coordinate onboarding, transfers, promotions, offboarding, and HRIS recordkeeping
• Identify process improvements to HR workflows and documentation
