Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist - Employee Relations LPC to join our on-site manufacturing team in Portland, OR.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will lead employee relations, investigations, coaching, and policy interpretation on the Large Parts Campus. You will spend substantial time on the production floor, partner with leadership, and drive compliance, engagement, and retention while balancing business needs with people concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing/fast-paced environments.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, EEOC, wage/hour laws and other federal/state requirements.
• Ability to influence leaders and balance business needs with employee concerns.

Responsibilities

• Guide plant leadership on employee relations, performance, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations into complaints, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations.
• Travel locally to address employee relations concerns and support resolution.
• Coach supervisors and managers on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and development.
• Maintain a visible HR presence on the production floor and conduct line walks.
• Facilitate focus groups and listening sessions to identify workforce concerns and retention opportunities.
• Document findings, assess risk, and provide recommendations for compliant employment decisions.
• Guide on ADA, FMLA, accommodations, leave administration, harassment prevention, and workplace conduct.
• Identify trends and risks and propose proactive culture and engagement improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality, and HR on investigations and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state/local employment laws.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance review management, and engagement initiatives.
