Job summary

A leading benefits fund organization is seeking a Senior HR Generalist in Washington, DC. This role supports HR operations including benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of labor laws. The position offers comprehensive health benefits, generous vacation policies, and up to 2 days of remote work weekly after probation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a union or Taft-Hartley Fund environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR compliance, benefits, compensation, and HRIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation and enforcement of HR policies.
• Administer the FMLA and ADA processes from beginning to end.
• Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including orientation.
