Job summary

Hogan & Associates Executive Search in Minneapolis seeks a Director of Human Resources to own all HR functions, payroll, and benefits as a hands-on generalist. This onsite role will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and manage day-to-day HR operations.

Reporting to the VP, Finance, the Director supports ~70 employees across states, driving HR systems, compliance, recruitment and culture initiatives while partnering with senior leaders to foster organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 12 years or more comprehensive HR Experience — Required
• 5 years or more Leading HR Team — Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel, Google Applications, HRIS
• Proficiency with and experience establishing an HRIS and talent management system

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and benefits administration for a multi-state workforce
• Lead employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions
• Oversee HR operations, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, and HR policy updates
• Administer benefits programs and open enrollment; ensure ACA/ERISA compliance
• Drive talent management, workforce planning, recruiting, and vendor management
• Lead performance management, goal setting, and merit increase processes
• Select and implement a comprehensive HRIS and partner with leadership on HR initiatives
