Job summary

Centerfield seeks a fast-thinking HR Director to power the People team as the operational engine and right hand to the SVP, People Operations. You will own day-to-day HR across the Corporate population, driving manager enablement and governing policies at pace.

You will lead the HR Partner team, escalate complex workforce challenges, and partner with the SVP to ensure people strategy keeps up with growth. This is a hybrid Playa Vista, CA role with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive HR experience with complex employee relations and daily HR operations.
• Experience as trusted operational partner to senior HR leadership.
• Leadership experience mentoring HR team members.
• Background in talent acquisition oversight and headcount tracking with Finance.
• Solid foundation in employment law, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in a technology or high-growth company is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner to SVP, People Operations, translating strategy into daily HR operations.
• Lead HR Partner team and oversee Corporate Talent Acquisition to match growth velocity.
• Provide rapid guidance and data-backed insights to inform People strategy.
• Manage complex employee relations, investigations, and risk governance with documentation.
• Drive headcount governance, approvals, and alignment with budgets.
• Collaborate across Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Analytics, and Legal on workforce changes.
• Coach Directors and Sr. Directors, building manager capability and accountability.
