Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior HR Data Analyst for a remote, contract role. You will support complex HR reporting, data analytics, and dashboard development, leveraging Excel, Power BI, AI, and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.

The position focuses on transforming manual reporting processes and improving sustainability of HR data workflows, with project-based work and independent collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems/MIS, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience in data analytics, advanced reporting, reporting automation, and process improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, data manipulation, and tools used to analyze and automate complex reporting.
• Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and data visualizations using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
• Experience utilizing AI, automation tools, or other emerging technologies to improve data analysis, reporting, or business processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing HR reporting and analyze, manipulate, and format complex datasets using advanced Excel functionality.
• Transform and optimize complex Excel-based reporting processes by identifying opportunities to automate workflows.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and data visualizations that provide business leaders with clear visibility into trends and insights.
• Utilize Power BI, Excel, and other tools to translate complex data into meaningful information.
• Create and maintain clear process documentation outlining reporting workflows and procedures.
