Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior HR Data Analyst to advance HR reporting, analytics, and automation in a remote, contract role. You will transform manual reporting processes and develop dashboards using Power BI and Excel.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data analytics, strong Excel skills, and a track record of implementing AI/automation to improve efficiency and accuracy. This project-based role offers remote work options and ongoing analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related professional experience in data analytics, advanced reporting, reporting automation, and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems/MIS, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, data manipulation, and tools used to analyze and automate complex reporting.
• Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and data visualizations using Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
• Experience utilizing AI, automation tools, or other emerging technologies to improve data analysis, reporting, or business processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing HR reporting and analyze, manipulate, and format complex datasets using advanced Excel functionality.
• Transform and optimize complex Excel-based reporting processes by identifying opportunities to simplify and automate workflows.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and data visualizations that provide leadership with clear visibility into trends.
• Utilize Power BI, Excel, and other tools to translate complex data into meaningful information.
• Create and maintain clear process documentation outlining reporting workflows and procedures.
