You will collaborate with CNS HR professionals and university offices to ensure efficient HR operations while managing confidential information with discretion. The position is on-site at UT Austin with a standard 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• Five years of administrative experience with at least one year focusing on human resource functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and long-term projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting faculty, staff, and students.
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle: initiate and process Workday transactions; monitor processes; act as Timekeeper; advise on policies and issues.
• Recruitment & Workforce Management: partner with faculty and leadership; guide hiring managers through lifecycle; monitor onboarding/offboarding.
• Visa Processing & International Employee Support: coordinate immigration filings and liaise with Texas Global.
• HR Compliance, Policy & Departmental Support: interpret policies; ensure compliance; communicate requirements.
