Job summary

The Office of the Secretary of Transportation is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Classification) to serve as a senior expert. You will provide advisory services to the Office of the Secretary on complex position management issues, conduct desk audits, validate FLSA coding, and prepare formal evaluation statements.

You will collaborate with management in the formative stages of organizational design and evaluate OST programs through data collection and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to OST on complex position management issues, including mixed-series/mixed-grade roles and interdisciplinary fields.
• Conduct desk audits, validate FLSA coding, and prepare formal evaluation statements.
• Collaborate with management during organizational design, recommending actions rooted in position management principles.
• Evaluate OST Position Management programs through data collection and periodic reviews.
