Job summary

Humanoid in Boston is seeking an HR Manager to blend strategic leadership with hands-on People Operations. You will own the US employee lifecycle, partner with Engineering, Hardware and Software leaders, and coach managers through performance discussions and development planning.

You will shape org design, workforce planning, and scalable HR processes within a fast-moving, tech-driven environment, ensuring compliant, fair, and empathetic people decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven HRBP experience supporting technical teams.
• Experience partnering with managers on performance management and employee relations.
• Strong capability in org design, workforce planning, manager coaching, performance management and employee relations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influence skills; clear with employees and leaders.
• Strong execution skills: run cycles, manage detail and deliver consistently.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for US employees, including onboarding, employee changes, leave management and offboarding.
• Administer US benefits, prepare payroll inputs, and handle day-to-day employee queries.
• Maintain accurate employee data, documentation and workflows in our HRIS (HiBob) and other HR systems.
• Coordinate lifecycle processes across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Legal and other internal teams.
• Prepare and maintain employment documentation, and support HR reporting, data quality, audits and compliance requirements.
• Serve as the primary HR partner for Engineering, Hardware and Software leaders.
• Support technical leaders with org design, workforce planning, and leadership development as the team scales.
• Coach managers on setting expectations, 1:1s, and performance management cycles.
• Enable career frameworks and retention strategies for technical roles.
