Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to serve as a senior member of the HRBP team, delivering strategic partnering for nursing leadership and operations.

You will drive workforce strategies, employee relations, and engagement initiatives while ensuring efficient delivery of HR projects and compliance. The role emphasizes partnering with nursing leadership to retain a high-performing workforce and support patient family culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science required.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Seven years of progressively responsible HR management experience.
• Experience advising multiple management levels on people matters.
• Experience in a University or Hospital setting preferred.
• Experience using a recognized HRIS system is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR and talent support to nursing leaders and staff.
• Interpret metrics, analyses, and present data to leaders.
• Drive culture and engagement initiatives across departments.
• Counsel on performance, discipline, and labor/employee relations as needed.
• Partner with nursing leaders to improve labor efficiency and track metrics.
• Support development programs, performance management, and recruitment tools.
• Ensure compliance with standards and manage leave and return-to-work processes.
• Provide support during emergency and disaster situations.
