Job summary

Arkema seeks a Sr. HR Business Partner to join our HR team and serve as the HRBP for the Alsip, IL and Grand Rapids, MI production facilities. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and travels between sites to implement HR strategy for both locations.

You will lead talent acquisition, onboarding, development, promotions, and exits while partnering with site leadership and the Corporate HR team to drive HR initiatives across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working as a generalist in the Human Resources field.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish personal credibility and build partnerships with site leadership and the Corporate HR team.
• Lead HR strategy for plant level, aligning key HR initiatives across the Americas.
• Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, development, promotions and exits for assigned client groups.
• Provide counsel on employee relations and labor issues to leaders, ensuring timely resolution.
• Stay current on US regulations to ensure compliance and timely implementation.
