Job summary

Alleguard is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our Anderson, SC plant and multi-site operations including Grandville, MI. The role focuses 40% on strategic HR initiatives, 55% on employee relations, investigations, recruiting, and 5% miscellaneous activities to help the organization achieve its objectives.

You'll work with Leaders and Managers, coordinate onboarding and training, and ensure sensitive records are maintained in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of HR experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Proven ability to prioritize workload and manage competing priorities.
• Travel 25–40% to other facilities as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Act as daily HR contact for employees and managers.
• Build relationships across all staff levels, especially hourly employees.
• On-site culture champion in partnership with HR leadership.
• Develop and propose improvements to HR policies, programs and processes.
• Coordinate recruiting, background checks and onboarding activities.
• Handle worker’s compensation communications with EHS and insurers.
• Maintain sensitive records in compliance with regulations.
• Support plant management meetings with HR perspective.
