At Equifax, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic advisor and driver of business outcomes through talent planning and execution across a highly matrixed enterprise. Supporting the Global Data & Analytics organization, the Senior HRBP will lead the people strategy directly for the Global D&A organization as well as influence the overall talent strategy for the Enterprise D&A function. This individual will work closely with SVP level leaders and their teams through the full scope of performance, learning and development, organizational design, employee relations, workforce planning, and more.
Reporting to the SVP, HR, the role is based in Alpharetta, GA, and will operate on a hybrid schedule with flexibility to work remotely on Monday and Friday, plus 2 weeks from anywhere. This is not a fully remote position.
What you’ll do
- Serve as a strategic partner and confidant to senior leaders to ensure HR strategy aligns with business strategy to enable success.
- Provide executive coaching and counsel to leaders on organizational design, development planning, workforce planning, performance development, and related topics.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Data & Analytics Council and HR Business Partners within business units and regions to align on talent needs and execute key talent priorities.
- Manage the annual talent review, succession, and compensation planning processes, including project management, compensation planning, and calibration meetings.
- Guide performance management and develop strong talent pipelines for key roles; develop retention strategies for high-potential talent.
- Identify skill gaps, training opportunities, and support career development and learning initiatives across the Enterprise D&A function.
- Proactively address issues while adhering to processes and maintaining focus on execution.
- Work with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to evaluate roles and determine appropriate band/grade/compensation components.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work environment, lead by example, and drive initiatives to improve engagement, morale, and retention.
- Engage in cross-cultural collaboration with global HR teams to ensure alignment on strategies and initiatives.
- Analyze data, metrics, and trends to develop targeted organizational and business solutions.
- Resolve employee relations issues through effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Participate in special projects within the business and across HR as needed.
What experience you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a consultative HR Business Partner.
- Strong knowledge supporting global organizations, with experience in compensation planning, organizational design, employee relations, development, performance management, and employment laws.
- Experience designing and leading learning and development initiatives is highly preferred.
- Exceptional skills in managing complex issues and deadlines, with effective communication across all organization levels.
- Ability to influence positively, manage conflict tactfully, and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to develop, attract, and assess talent.
- Ability to identify and anticipate client needs and make practical recommendations.
