The Sr. HR Business Partner effectively builds relationships and serves as the liaison between leadership, employees, shared services, and human resources departments to design, execute, communicate, and monitor human resources initiatives and programs across business lines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS :
  1. Provides guidance and counseling to Unifi leadership in employee relations, performance management, coaching and counseling, learning and development, talent management, and succession planning.
  2. Builds strong partnerships between Human Resources and the business to foster a positive and fulfilling work environment.
  3. Maintains the strictest confidentiality in all work aspects and ensures data integrity.
  4. Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promotes high employee morale and motivation.
  5. Partners with leadership to design and execute strategies related to staffing, onboarding, talent development, and employee retention.
  6. Maintains knowledge of Federal and State Laws, company policies, and procedures to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance.
  7. Conducts investigations, documents findings, and makes recommendations for appropriate action.
  8. Communicates proactively with internal and external customers.
  9. Uses Human Resources metrics and business data to inform decision-making.
  10. Responds to employee questions and resolves issues professionally and promptly.
  11. Coordinates with managers on requests for leaves of absence and administrative policies.
  12. Updates and maintains employee information in the HRIS system promptly for assigned locations.
  13. Processes hourly personnel status changes (address, pay, position, status, terminations, etc.) in a timely manner.
  14. Collaborates with Training Department to develop, schedule, and deliver leadership training.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.
