The role will be based on site five days a week at our Newnan, Georgia Case Ready Beef Facility.

Job Purpose and Impact

As the Senior Human Resource Business Partner, you will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels by supporting our leaders and team members, helping create an environment where all team members can thrive, partnering to align our business and people strategy. You will facilitate and manage employee relations and be responsible for promoting healthy relationships and engagement at the location. This role works closely with an internal entry-level HRBP, external HRBP teams, COEs, and key stakeholders to advise, drive strategy, influence client groups on issues involving people strategy, employee relations, organizational development and leadership, and analyze metrics to provide solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  1. SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION: Partners to develop and implement complex solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting and retention to increase productivity and mitigate people risks while also building an inclusive culture.
  2. PROGRAM EXECUTION: Deploys workforce plans, learning programs, talent acquisition activities and other talent programs and projects at the location.
  3. METRICS & ANALYSIS: Leverages complex reports and dashboards to measure, manage and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at plant locations.
  4. DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION: Communicates and adopts complex diversity, equity and inclusion policies and practices in plant locations.
  5. ACTIVITY DEPLOYMENT: Serves as location lead to drive local deployment of related activities and partners across the teams to best serve the client.
  6. HR SUPPORT: Responds to employee and manager inquiries received on site, identifies themes, triages daily grievance matters, partners with essential teams to investigate serious and sensitive matters, and manages on-site audits.
  7. BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Partners with key leaders on the execution of complex local people and culture plans.
  8. OPERATIONAL PROCESSES: Implements complex plant HR operational processes including time and attendance, employee or labor relations, benefits administration, HR training, compliance training, and Affirmative Action Planning to support overall HR operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years supporting supervisors and managers. Typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience partnering and influencing front-line and senior leaders to align people strategy and increase business results.
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including investigations, DEI, compensation practices, AAP, talent/performance management programs, HR training, and employment laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years working in a manufacturing facility
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification

This role will work a 6am-3pm schedule and may require off-shift hours to support operations.
