Job summary

Institute for Community Living Inc. seeks a Senior Housing Coordinator to supervise Housing Coordinators and guide housing-related services to help clients secure permanent housing.

You will oversee staffing needs, timekeeping, training, and compliance with policies while coordinating with landlords and case records. The role requires dedication to helping individuals with mental disabilities and related services on a full-time onsite basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with practicum or 3 years qualifying experience.
• 3 years experience in case management or housing services with a Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years experience in case management or housing services with a Master’s degree.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; NYS Driver’s License a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to Housing Coordinators.
• Establish and maintain work schedules and oversee timekeeping compliance.
• Manage performance evaluations and staff development.
• Conduct employment interviews and staff planning.
• Ensure trainings are completed and trainings conducted.
• Oversee workers’ compensation claims and accident reporting.
• Monitor staff morale and anti-harassment compliance.
• Approve time off and monitor FMLA cases.
• Lead weekly meetings on resident progress and service coordination.
• Perform Housing Coordinator duties including housing resources and liaising with landlords.
