Job summary

The People Concern is seeking a Senior Case Manager for Housing Intake Services in Los Angeles. This role leads intake operations, mentors staff, and ensures accurate housing applications for clients referred to housing programs.

Responsibilities include guiding eligibility assessments, collaborating with housing authorities, and maintaining compliance across CHAMP, HMIS, and RMS systems. Strong knowledge of subsidies and Trauma-Informed Care is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of case management or housing navigation experience.
• Knowledge of housing subsidy programs and housing authority processes.
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Housing First, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake operations and ensure timely completion of applications.
• Lead and mentor Intake staff, provide coaching and QA.
• Coordinate partnerships with housing authorities, property managers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor program quality and compliance with agency, funder, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Program Manager with operational oversight and reporting.
