Job summary

Legends Global in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County Convention Center) seeks a seasoned Housekeeping Manager to lead day-to-day operations, manage supervisors and staff, and ensure the facility and restrooms meet cleaning standards for events.

You'll coordinate with Event Operations, Facilities, Security and other teams, train supervisors, monitor vendors, and uphold safety, SDS, and labor requirements while controlling costs and scheduling staff for peak times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years in commercial, hospitality housekeeping.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience in housekeeping.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, event operations.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including supervisors and staff.
• Provide hands-on support during large events and staffing shortages.
• Inspect spaces to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Coordinate with other departments to support event needs.
• Train and coach supervisors on cleaning standards and safety.
• Monitor vendors and manage supplies and inventory.
