Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale to oversee housekeeping staff, ensuring clean rooms and high guest service standards. You will train, schedule and coach associates while maintaining HHM core values and sustainability guidelines.

The role may involve occasional room cleaning and vendor coordination. Responsibilities include staff training, interviewing applicants, scheduling, and monitoring guest service scores to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates to meet brand and hotel standards.
• Screen job applicants and hire new employees when needed.
• Train staff to clean rooms according to established standards.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvements.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
• On occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.
• Address associate performance and behavior concerns by direct intervention or through vendors.
• Supervise laundry employees, if applicable.
• Prepare work schedules for associates or coordinate with vendors to ensure staffing.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program and OSHA standards.
• Assist in the breakfast area as needed.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
