Job summary

Legends Global seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead the day-to-day on-site housekeeping operations at Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, AZ. You will manage staffing, training, scheduling, and cleanliness to meet top-tier standards for diverse events.

You will collaborate with event management and operations teams to ensure seamless Turnarounds and exceptional guest experiences, balancing budgets and compliance while fostering team development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum five years knowledge of general cleaning and techniques relative to housekeeping procedures.
• Must have knowledge of scheduling/staffing requirements for industry related field.
• Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in proven supervisory role in field.
• Minimum high school diploma, some college course work desired

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a preventive housekeeping program to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training and attendance records.
• Monitor expenditures and assist in budget development for the Housekeeping department.
• Coordinate with event management and operations teams for turnover and readiness.
• Lead annual training program for entire Housekeeping staff and ensure adherence to standards.
• Attend pre-convention meetings and weekly events meetings.
• Supervise teams during events and communicate department charges to management.
• Support union-related administrative tasks in coordination with management.
