Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for its events operations team at the Broward County Convention Center. The role oversees day-to-day housekeeping, leads supervisors and staff, and ensures a clean, safe, and event-ready environment.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, manage staffing, and implement training to uphold safety and service standards during large events and routine operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of experience in commercial, hospitality, convention center, or similar housekeeping operations.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, event operations, and managing a housekeeping team.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety practices.
• Some college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including supervisors, staff, schedules, assignments, and event coverage.
• Provide hands-on support and direction during large events, staffing shortages, or supervisor absences.
• Inspect event spaces, public areas, restrooms, back-of-house areas, and other facility areas to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Follow up on cleaning issues, deficiencies, and customer or department concerns and ensure they are corrected.
• Coordinate with Event Operations, Facilities, Security, and other departments to support event and facility needs.
• Train, coach, and develop supervisors and team members on cleaning standards, safety, equipment, chemicals, and customer service.
