Job summary

Kana Hotel Group is seeking a seasoned Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our bedding and laundry teams at Mooresville. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, maintain room quality, manage staff schedules, and support the General Manager with budgeting and audits.

Applicants should have at least 4 years in housekeeping in a large facility, 2 years of supervisory experience, and strong communication skills. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff: hire, terminate, discipline, evaluate, train.
• Schedule staff per labor standards and occupancy; assign daily boards.
• Manage contract labor relations and training for contract staff.
• Evaluate equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Assist GM in developing the department's annual budget and monitor performance.
• Maintain room quality and cleanliness across rooms, storage, laundry, restrooms and public areas; verify vacancy and readiness.
• Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
• Oversee all housekeeping duties and labor cost goals.
• Establish cost control for staffing, linen inventories and cleaning supplies.
• Conduct inventories of linen, supplies and equipment; order supplies.
• Ensure quality service and guest relations; prepare for audits and implement improvements.
