Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to oversee all housekeeping operations across the resort, ensuring outstanding cleanliness, guest comfort, and service standards. You will recruit, coach, and lead a team, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Required are a hospitality-focused degree, 4+ years in director/assistant housekeeping at a similar property, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Four+ years in director or assistant housekeeping at a property of similar size.
• Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and interpret business records, statistics and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and staffing for Housekeeping to ensure coverage and excellence.
• Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development for housekeeping staff.
• Oversee performance management, evaluations, and career development.
• Develop and manage budgets, labor, linen inventories, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guestrooms and public areas.
• Drive guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional housekeeping services.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Rooms Division for smooth operations.
• Lead departmental meetings and communicate KPIs and priorities.
• Analyze payroll, purchasing, productivity, and quality metrics with action plans.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to achieve property objectives.
