Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, seeks a Director of Housekeeping to lead recruitment, training, and performance while managing budgets and operational standards. You will ensure spotless guest rooms and public areas, collaborate with Front Office, and drive guest satisfaction through proactive service improvements.

The role requires 4+ years at director or assistant director level in a similar resort setting, with strong communication skills and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Four or more years as a Director or Assistant Housekeeper in a property of similar size.
• Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication is required.
• Able to read and interpret business records, reports and financial information.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and staffing initiatives within Housekeeping to ensure coverage and excellence.
• Provide strategic leadership, coaching, training, and development for housekeeping staff and managers.
• Oversee performance management, evaluations, recognition, and career planning.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, linen inventories, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in guestrooms and public areas.
• Drive guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional housekeeping services and addressing concerns.
• Maintain room status reporting and collaborate with Front Office and Rooms Division.
• Lead meetings and communicate KPIs, service standards, safety initiatives, and priorities.
• Analyze payroll, purchasing, productivity, and quality metrics to improve results.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support operational excellence.
