Job summary

The Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison, WI is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to guide the daily operations of our Housekeeping department and uphold the keys to exceptional cleanliness and service.

In this supervisory role, you’ll lead shifts, train staff, manage scheduling, and ensure rooms and public areas meet high standards while coordinating with Front Office to optimize room availability and guest satisfaction. Starting wage is $22.00-$24.00 per hour, with weekends required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required; hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the housekeeping team throughout the day
• Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance development
• Conduct training and coaching on chemical usage and policies
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards
• Partner with Front Office to prioritize room availability and guest needs
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns
• Assist with payroll, inventory, and departmental organization
• Oversee daily operations in the absence of leadership
