Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Room Inspector (Senior Housekeeper) to blend hands-on cleaning with supervision, quality control, and guest service. You will lead a housekeeping team, ensure rooms meet brand standards, and respond to guest needs.

Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred; shifts start 8am on supervisor days off and 9am/10am on other days with variable end times. StayPMS proficiency and basic Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping experience preferred with good standing.
• Shifts start at 8am on supervisor days off and 9am/10am otherwise; shift end varies by business needs.
• Computer skills for room status monitoring via StayPMS, scheduling, ordering, and inventory management.
• Additional language skills such as Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms to hotel guidelines; inspect rooms and public areas daily for cleanliness and brand standards.
• Supervise and support Housekeeping staff to ensure productivity and quality.
• On supervisor days off, assign daily room duties, distribute keys, and lead pre-shift meetings.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns; verify completion to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain organization of linen rooms, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.
• Train and coach team on cleaning standards, safety practices, and performance expectations.
• Monitor room status, maintain key control, and report cleaned rooms accurately.
• Assist with cleaning duties as needed to support operations and daily goals.
• Promote a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and guest service.
